Casa Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon

Notes - 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Merlot. All the wine was aged 14 months in new (75%) and one year (25%) French oak Bordeaux barrels, bottled in November 2004. Deep and bright red ruby colour. Intense nose, aromas of red fruit, plums, cherries and cassis mixed with elegant touches of sweet spices, vanilla and toasty notes. In the mouth the wine shows a perfect balance, creamy and velvety round tannins. Concentration and elegance give a firm identity. Long and persistent finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or cellared for several years.
