Notes - Sarria is a large and beautiful estate, on the edge of Punta de la Reina, near Pamplona. The winery and vineyards have enjoyed a sustained period of investment allowing mature vineyards to be revitalised, new vineyards to be planted and new equipment in the cellar now complements the very best of Navarra's traditional winemaking pedigree. The Garnacha grapes used in the making of Senorio de Sarria Rosado are sourced from Sarria's associated vineyards and harvested between September and October. The grapes are crushed and the must is extracted by running off or 'bleeding' the free run juice after a short pre-fermentation maceration period of 8-10 hours. After a series of decantings, the wine is kept in tank until bottling to preserve freshness. Brilliant on hot summer days or with light lunches of pasta, rice, fresh vegetables and simply grilled fish.
