Belle Glos Pinot Noir

Notes - Belle Glos showcases the distinctive Pinot Noirs that Joseph Wagner produces from top growing areas in California. The Wagner family also own Caymus  Vineyards. This Sonoma Coast bottling was created to showcase the potential of this emerging coastal growing region. The grapes selected came from three vineyards within the sub-appellations of this area, each of which produced Pinot Noir with its own character. In blending these wines together, Belle Glos wanted to achieve a multi-layered wine that revealed the fruit’s origins but also expressed the many flavors of the coastlands. It is a clear a bright red colour with hints of brick red, the nose is very Burgundian but also has hints of raspberry, deep red fruits, vanillins and some smoky oak. The red fruit aromas on the nose follow onto the palate which is very fresh and clean with a persistant finish.
