Wine information:
Titchfield Vineyard is ideally placed in a sheltered location close to the warm waters of The Solent in the heart of the historic Elizabethan village of Titchfield. The first vines were planted in 1991 and produced the first vintage in 1996. The vine varieties were chosen for their ability to ripen with good sugar levels in the Southern English climate. All Titchfield wines are produced from grapes grown, vinified and bottled on the estate. A blend of Auxerois and Pinot Noir grapes produce this traditionally bottle-fermented sparkling wine. The heritage of the warm Hampshire shores and strawberry growing tradition is evident in its bouquet. This sparkling has a fine mousse and a long, elegant finish.
