Notes - The Mann family have been growers in Alsace since 1793, but it was in 1948 that Joseph Wunsch and Joseph Mann set up their own winery and began to make wines under the Wunsch et Mann label. The company owns 48 hectares of vineyards and follows the principal of viticulture raisonée, which advocates minimum intervention in the vineyard. Based in the town of Wettolsheim which is located to the south of Colmar to the south of Wintzenheim, Wunsch et Mann have vineyards located in two of the Grand Crus - Hengst and Steingrubler. This wine is a blend of Pinot Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc, it has a delicate, slightly floral nose with some lemony notes. The palate is slightly off dry, slightly spicy, with good concentration of rounded, lemony fruit.
