Schloss Johannisberger Riesling Kabinett (Red Seal)

Wine information: Schloss Johannisberg is a single vineyard designation (Einzellage) in its own right, and one of a handful historic German vineyards which do not have to display a village name on the label. Thus, the vineyard designation on the label is Schloß Johannisberger. Various colors have been used to distinguish wine qualities at Schloss Johannisberg since the days of Fürst von Metternich. Then (1820), with “Siegellack” (wax seals); today, with coloured capsules. Rotlack (red seal): Kabinett.
