Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec

Notes - Trapiche, with over 120 years of history and owning over 1000 hectares of vineyards, are the number one exporter of Argentine wine in the world. 100% Malbec, fermentation in small vats, natural malolactic, 12 months in French and American oak barrels. Natural cork closure. This wine is an intense deep violet red colour with a bouquet of sweet aromas of blackberries and plum and some light elegant smoky and vanilla notes. The mouthfeel has a velvety texture, with soft tannins and long finish. this wine is an ideal partner with Mediterranean cooking, cheeses, stews and game.
