Notes - The commune of Vougeot is in the centre of the Côte de Nuits, flanked on the south by Falgey Echézeax and Vosne-Romanée. This 50 ha vineyard is east facing. Louis Jadot is the second largest owner in the Clos Vougeot vineyard with more than 2 hectares. Fermentation (3 to 4 weeks) takes palce in tanks, after which the wine is aged in barrel for 18 months prior to being bottled. The Clos Vougeot is a rich wine of power and depth with an elegant complexity, and a full, fragrant and distinctly floral bouquet. This wine could easily be cellared for 15 to 25 years.
