Trevor Elliott has first-hand knowledge of viticulture and winemaking in many of the wine-growing regions of the world. However, the wines of Madeira are a particular passion and for nearly twenty years Trevor has made a detailed study and acquired a considerable knowledge about the wines and the island. A wine educator of long standing, Trevor’s first vocation was that of a chemistry teacher, he rose to be head of a large comprehensive school in Hampshire. But the wine world always include a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Diploma with Honours. A very active member of the Association of Wine Educators, Trevor is in high demand to tutor Madeira and many other tastings for wine societies and corporate hospitality events.
