China has a long tradition of the fermentation and distillation of Chinese wine, the country is a top ten consumer of wine but more recently has now began producing and exporting some good quality table wines from Chinese grapes.While some critics have treated these with the same type of disregard as Chilean and Australian wines were once treated, others have recognized a new frontier with the potential to yield interesting finds.
