New Label for Champagne Forget Brimont Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru
At Fareham Wine Cellar, we have been buying direct from Champagne Forget Brimont for over 20 years and they remain one of our favourite, Champagne producers. Champagne Forget Brimont is located in Craon de Ludes and 6th Generation Champenoise Michel Forget is the current owner and winemaker. The estate can trace it roots back to the early nineteenth century when his ancestor, Louis, first created vineyards in the area. The Forget Brimont brand was established in 1920 by another relative, Eugène.
We have just taken a new delivery of their Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru and I was surprised, yet pleased, please to see that the label has been given a bit of a makeover. I think it looks more modern, cleaner and smarter compared to the old one. What do you think? The old one was a little more classic, but I think the new one grows on you. It will be interesting to see if they roll this out across the rest of the range.
