Beefeater London Dry Gin was created in the 1880s by James Burroughs. The only premium London dry gin still made in London, Beefeater Gin is distilled at Kennington on the south bank of the river Thames. It is still made with the original (and secret) recipe, unchanged since 1820. Beefeater Gin contains nine different botanicals: juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, coriander seeds, liquorice, almonds, orris root, seville oranges, and lemon peel. These botanicals are steeped for 24 hours before distillation. Distillation takes eight hours to complete.
