Briottet Creme de Framboise is a French raspberry liqueur made in Dijon.

Maison Briottet is a family business, founded in 1836, and has been run by the 6th generation of the Briottet family, Claire and Vincent, since 2014. The Maison is located in the centre of the town of Dijon in the Burgundy wine-growing region. Originally, the family were negociants of Burgundy wine, involved with ageing, blending, bottling and selling the wines. Following the development, and massive popularity of the Blanc Cassis Aperitif (white wine with Crème de Cassis also known as a Kir), in the 1900s, the company progressively focused its activities on producing fruit crèmes, liquors, brandies and Marcs de Bourgogne.

Maison Briottet maintains a very high level of quality. It is the selection of the ripest fruit, locally sourced where possible, from the most suitable cultivars that provides for the finest flavours. The first step on the ladder in the process is contracting the right growers to produce the finest, best quality, ripe fruit. Then, at the headquarters, the fruits undergo carefully observed maceration with very pure neutral alcohol and blending with the correct proportion of sugars to achieve the balance between fruit flavour, sweetness, acidity and alcohol to create top of the range crèmes and liqueurs.

Raspberries have been cultivated since the Middle Ages and are cousins to the wild raspberries which come from Southern Europe. These bright red berries have a sweet but sharp taste. The raspberries are macerated in alcohol for a minimum period of two months. This enables all the finesse of the small berries to be extracted. White sugar is then added to the infusion obtained and this elegant Raspberry liqueur is the result.

Briottet Creme de Framboise (Raspberry Liqueur) is a great alternative to Chambord liqueur.

Briottet Crème de Framboise is rich and fruity, with a dominant scent of fresh raspberries, along with subtle floral undertones. On the palate, this liqueur is sweet and smooth, with a rich and fruity flavor. The dominant flavour is that of fresh raspberries, with notes of sweetness and a hint of tartness. The finish of Briottet Crème de Framboise is long and sweet, with a lingering flavour of raspberries.

To Serve

Perfect for sipping on its own, or using as an ingredient in cocktails and mixed drinks. It pairs well with other fruity liqueurs and can also be used to add a fruity twist to classic cocktails.

Try in a Raspberry Martini cocktail:


  • 1 1/2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Briottet Crème de Framboise
  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • Fresh raspberries for garnish


  1. Chill a martini glass in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  2. In a shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, Briottet Crème de Framboise, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds, until the shaker is very cold to the touch.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with fresh raspberries on cocktail stick
