Description

Cambridge Dry Gin is made at Cambridge Distillery from botanicals from the distillery’s own gardens and it is the distillery’s first gin to be available all year round.

The Cambridge Distillery, although no longer officially the UK’s smallest distillery, produces very small quantities of fantastic gin. They are now internationally renowned and multi-award winning. They have also been named three consecutive times as the most innovative distillery in the world. The distillery was founded by William and Lucy Lowe. Their gin is produced using locally grown or foraged botanicals and each botanical is distilled individually, in volumes of 2 litres, under vacuum before the gin is finally blended together. This allows much more control when distilling the individual botanicals helping to preserve the freshest qualities possible. As well as this fantastic dry gin, the distillery also produces seasonal gins, an amazing truffle flavoured gin, a gin inspired by Japanese botanicals and one made with essence of red wood ants!

Cambridge Dry Gin is made using Macedonian Juniper and botanicals from across the season including:

Blackcurrant leaf – for a wonderfully sweet, fruit sensation

Basil and rosemary – from the distillery gardens, adding rich green flavour

Lemon verbena – a local and sustainable citrus character

Rose and violet petals – for light, floral notes

Angelica seed – to add just a touch of spice
