Description

Côte de Nuits Villages Le Vaucrain is a 3.5 ha single vineyard that was purchased by Maison Louis Jadot in 1996. Approximately 2.5 hectares are planted with Pinot Noir vines. The remaining part with Chardonnay. It is situated in the village of Comblanchien, and adjacent to the well known Clos de la Marechale, a famous Premier Cru of Nuits Saint Georges. Louis Jadot’s Côte de Nuits Villages Le Vaucrain is vinified in tanks for 3 to 4 weeks and is then aged in oak barrels for 10 months before bottling. The average age of the Pinot Noir vines is 10 years old.rn
