The Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchill was launched in 2006 which solved the problem that for many years Romeo Y Julieta did not have a robusto-sized cigar in their range. The Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchill is a robusto sized cigar with a 50 ring gauge.This is the same size as the Bolivar Royal Coronas and the Partagas Serie D No 4. The Romeo Y Julieta Short Churchill is a medium bodied cigar with a great construction, burn and firm draw. An aromatic Cuban cigar with a hint of cherry that Romeo cigars are known for. Will smoke for around an hour.
The Romeo Y Julieta Brand is named after Shakespeare’s eponymous lovers and, as Cuban cigar brand, dates back to 1875. An historic brand whose Julieta No. 2 vitola was so favoured by Sir Winston Churchill that it became known simply as a “Churchill” cigar. Romeo Y Julieta’s balanced and aromatic blend of selected filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo zone make it the classic medium bodied Habano. The cigars are made an the H. Upmann factory.
