Description
Titchfield Vineyard Bacchus is a still English white wine from Hampshire. It is made from 100% Bacchus grapes.
Titchfield Vineyard is a small English vineyard located near the village of Titchfield situated near the Solent between Portsmouth and Southampton. It has been owned by Colin Baker for a number of years and he produces a range of wines including red, white, sparkling and, when conditions allow, a dessert wine. Their first wines were released in 1996.
Titchfield Vineyard has a very special location quite close to the Solent and the maritime climate has quite an influence on the local conditions. The grape varieties grown there were chosen for their ability to ripen with good sugar levels in the Southern English climate. All Titchfield Vineyard wines are produced from grapes grown, vinified and bottled on the estate. The Bacchus grape is perfect for the English climate and produces fresh, white wines often with similarity to Sauvignon Blanc.
These wines are only made in small quantities, please check here to see if there is any of the Titchfield Vineyard Fume available.
