Winchester Distillery Summer Garden Gin is a small batch, micro-distilled Hampshire gin made at the Winchester Distillery. 

Winchester Distillery is a small, artisanal spirits producer located in the South Downs National Park, just outside of Winchester, England. The distillery was founded by ex software developer Paul Bowler, in 2014, who started out with a small 25 litre still in his garage. The company specialises in producing high quality spirits using traditional methods, modern energy-saving equipment and using botanicals sourced from the local Hampshire surrounds

All of the Hampshire gins, including their most famous Twisted Nose Gin, are produced at Winchester Distillery. They are distilled in a traditional copper pot still, a descendent of the alembic still, used to make batches of spirits, unlike the continuous distillation of large, more commercial column stills. Pot stills produce a very fine grade of spirit. The botanicals are gently crushed, mixed and macerated pure, neutral spirit to release the oils that give the gin its characteristic flavours. The spirit and macerated botanicals are then re-distilled in the pot still and only the heart of the distillate is used for the final bottling.

Winchester Distillery Summer Garden Gin is a dry gin designed for summer drinking which is rich in juniper with seasonal summer fruits and fresh herbs. As well as juniper, the botanicals include New Forest strawberries, rose petals and a hint of cooling mint, all distilled slowly in their traditional pot still. The result is a symphony of flavours that dance on the palate, evoking images of sun-dappled English summer gardens.

Meticulously produced in small batches of just 250 bottles, ensuring that every bottle maintains the highest standard of quality and flavour. This is a limited edition, seasonal gin which the distillery only makes once an year. They also produce a gin for each season: Spring Meadow, Autumn Hedgerow and Winter Wassail.
